Someone So Special

Good morning, my dear friends. Today's card was made with a heavy heart. My mom passed away Tuesday evening, peacefully, from Alzheimers. I was blessed to be with her when she went, this beautiful woman who gave me life. Because I love to stamp, I wanted to make this for her. It helped keep me busy this morning as we make the final arrangements. Every day is precious and if you can, give your mom a hug today or phone and tell her how much you love her :)

What's in it?
Stamps: Verve forever in our hearts
Ink: SU choc chip
Paper: PTI vintage cream, avocado, tea leaves dp, SU blue
Accessories: SU ef, cuttlebug ef, prima flower, SU brad, ghost flower, brad, rectangular and circle nestabilities

My heart cries for your huge loss Maureen! You've made an incredibly beautiful card in honour of your mother. Maybe you can take peace in knowing that now she can remember all of the wonderful times that the two of you have shared.

Call me if you need anything!

Maureen, I'm so, so, so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful card, so touching and yes, keeping busy does tend to help. I know it sounds silly but if I can do anything from this side of the pond I will!
Sending lots of hugs,
My sincerest condolences,
Aimes

Oh Maureen! My heart stopped when I read your first line. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. How blessed were you though that you got to spend so much time sitting with her this last week. My prayers are most definitely with you and your family.

This card is stunningly beautiful. The colors, the sentiment, and the big flower. You heart is truly pasted across the front of it.
