You’re My (Handsome and Handy) Hero

Good morning!  It’s been quite the week here with our first snowfalls this past weekend and a field trip to the Pumpkin Patch yesterday!!  It’s also TGIF and a new sketch over on the Viva La Verve Forum. Some of us Canadians wait until the first snowfall to get the winter tires on and I’m one of them.  Usually the first snowfall isn’t much and usually the snow is all melted by noon.  It is our little warning from Mother Nature to get the snow tires on.  I wasn’t looking forward to heading to the tire store early before work and dropping my car off when my lovely dh said he could just do them in the garage now that all his tools are here at the new house!  And this is where the inspiration for my little mini card (3.5 x 4.75) begins…a little love note to leave in my handsome and handy husband’s suitcase as he heads out of town for work.  A little note of love and thanks for keeping me safe…it’s things like this that mean so much, little demonstrations of love :)  So he’s my hero this week (and every day) and I wanted to let him know.  What are the demonstrations YOU love?

Hey! Have you played all month long with the Viva La Verve sketches?  Get them all done this month and then link them up to the Sketch Champion thread for the chance to win $100 in Verve GCs!  It comes just in time for the new release rescheduled for next Friday night, November 2nd :)  Have a fabulous day!

This is an AWESOME card, Maureen, both the design (love the layered elements!), and the sentiment behind it. My hubby is my hero too, so I know how you feel. Lucky, aren't we :)
