Happy Birthday

Good morning!  TGIF!!  We’ve got another Professional Day here in our province and I’m excited to be working with some colleagues on some new things I’ve introduced in my class this year.  I have embraced Fall now and love the rich colours it brings.  It’s our first Fall in the house and we’ve been enjoying watching the leaves change colours from our huge living room windows :)  Today’s card uses Diva Tosh’s Viva La Verve sketch.  We have 2 more weeks of sketches before the BIG monthly draw for a $100 Verve gift certificate!  Wouldn’t that be amazing to win?!  Head over to the Viva La Verve Forum for all the details and then get creating!  Have a glorious Friday!

what’s in it?

paper: rustic cream, kraft, bitty boxes dp (PTI), soft suede, espresso, razzleberry (SU), Memoir (Studio Calico)

I think we need some pictures of the fall from your deck and your studio! I am sure it is beyond amazing! I told Christina on Tuesday that we needed to come vacation at your house :)!

Your card is beautiful...such a tribute to the gorgeous colors of this time of year!

PS My mum LOVED your card!

I love the colors you used in this card! The maroon is very pretty, and love that the center of the flower is a butterfly...too cute :)

If the leaves are like anything here then it's like watching slow, beautiful fireworks in the daytime! So happy you've embraced autumn/fall but don't think I've not spotted that little summer time butterfly on your rich, scrummy card, Diva! ;D
TGI Friday!

Lovign the pops of brown and the way you snuck the flower and butterfly in to this fall colour combo. Great take ont eh sketch. We drove down a street full of maple trees today and the scene was breath taking with a carpet of red, yellow and orange and just as much vibrant colour still on the trees. Oh how I love fall colours :) Sure people will enjoy learnign what you are teaching today :) Have a great weekend.
