You are Missed

youaremissed

Good morning!!  Today’s card is for this week’s Waltzingmouse Sketch challenge.  I was really stumped with this sketch, but the chance to win a WMS stamp set is more than enough incentive to try each week :)  However, now that I look back on the actual sketch…I see I’m a little “off” this challenge too, kind of like the big Play Date colour flub a few days ago.  I’m blaming it on all the decisions I’ve had to make about the new house.  We picked out all the taps, sinks, toilets and tubs yesterday. It was a little bit of a surprise to me as I thought we had another week.  I think the worse part will be light fixtures and knobs…there are a million to choose from.  Anyways, back to the card…I really wanted to try out my new Spellbinders Banner dies and all these Fancy Phrases sentiments from Waltzingmouse fit perfectly :)  Okay, I’m off to check out granite countertops!! Thanks for stopping by…come back tomorrow as I host the next Viva La Verve sketch challenge…at least I can deviate from my own sketch if I want :)  Oh and you still have a few days to Get Your Diva On…ever wish to be a Verve Guest Diva?  Well, now’s your chance!!  Click HERE for all the details :)

Now maybe you should take some pics of these fixtures/fittings and we can vote for 'em on FB?! That way I know what to expect when I gatecrash your country and visit ya LOL!
Hugs!

I'd say you did a beautiful job. Besides, as I always have to remind myself, the sketch is just a starting point for your creativity ;) Gorgeous colors and fabulous stitching. Love the banners....damn you! LOL

Sounds like you're at least having some fun with all of your fabulous decisions....I think despite the stress, I'll have a tough time feeling sorry for you once you're in that gorgeous studio!

What a beautiful card! Love all the shabby details. That banner die is a perfect touch for this card. Talk to you soon! I booked our flights for Montreal yesterday! I'm so excited! Hope you have a good day today!

Wonderful card. Love the layered butterfly and of course the flowers and leaves. I think it would take me forever to pick things out for a house, especially with my non visual handicap LOL! Knobs and fixtures beware! There are TONS of them out there!! Post a picture and let us know what you settle on :) On to Day 4 of VBS today - going great but I think I may stoop to drinking some leaded coffee today - was tough getting out of bed today LOL!

Hey girl! This card is just lovely. HOW you are still designing with all the house stuff going on amazes me. When I redid the kitchen, I took a break from crafting!

Thanks for all the pictures on the house progress, keep them up!! Yes, light fixtures are many and diverse. Have fun picking all the new stuff!!

Hugs, michelle

Gorgeous layers, Maureen! I love how you fancied up your center circle with the banner and the leaves framing the sides. Beautiful combination of papers and embellies, too!
