Happy Birthday

Good morning!!  Today's card was made last weekend for the second November Viva La Verve sketch.  Believe me when I say, it was a true challenge.  The two ovals really threw me for a loop and I tried my best to make them work by having them blend in with the background :)  hehe...but guess what?  I actually love this card!! LOL  I think the ovals add a whole lot of interest to the background of the card.  Now, I will not take much of the credit for making them work, rather I will sing the praises of BasicGrey's Pyrus paper.  It is gorgeous!!  A beautiful mix of tapestry and fall colours :)  And that seam binding ribbon is from Memrie Mare on Etsy.  I love the way she sends her packages in used boxes and always adds a sweet bauble or antique button to her ribbon bundles :)  The button on this card is one such treasure she added to my last order :)  What treasures are you loving at the moment?  I'd love to hear :)  Have a wonderful day :)

what's in it?
stamps: verve plain jane; autumn splendor
ink: versafine onyx, su mustard, pumpkin, sahara sand, close to cocoa
paper: su mustard, soft suede, pti cream, scarlet jewel, basicgrey pyrus
accessories: oval and labels 16 nestabilities, gemstones, stitching, seam binding ribbon, vintage button, thread
